Foster

Oahu's homeless dogs desperately need your help. Open your heart and home to a dog in need.

Each day we are turning away calls to take in abandoned dogs because we do not have enough qualified fosters. By providing a temporary, loving home, you're giving a dog the chance to heal, learn, and prepare for their fur-ever family.

Fostering is one of the most rewarding ways to help rescue dogs in need. Fur-Angel Foundation provides all the basic supplies and medical care. Your job is to transport your foster to appointments and love him/her as your own!

Steps to becoming a foster

1

Fill out foster application

Complete the online application form.

2

Schedule a virtual in-home tour

Complete the "Foster Checklist" with the coordinator.

3

Review policies and procedures

Familiarize yourself with FAF policies (see application & checklist). All FAF dogs are spayed/neutered before adoption.

4

Start fostering!

Fostering timeframe can vary from a minimum of 30 days to potentially a few months, depending on each individual circumstance.

Why foster?
